About Dirt Trade

Every construction season in the Treasure Valley, some jobs end up with dirt they need to get rid of, while others need it brought in. Too often those two jobs never find each other, and the material gets hauled farther than it needs to.

Dirt Trade is a simple online marketplace to fix that. Contractors, haulers, landscapers, and property owners can post free HAVE or NEED listings for dirt, fill dirt, pit run, 3/4" gravel, road base, rock, topsoil, and sand.

We're starting in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, Star, and Middleton.

What we believe

• Local is better. A shorter haul saves time, fuel, and wear on trucks and roads.
• Keep it simple. Post what you have or need, and connect with the people who respond.
• Be honest about material. Clear descriptions and clean fill make every deal easier.
• Do it right. Get permission, follow local rules, and keep good records.

How we work

Dirt Trade is a listing venue. We don't haul, test, buy, or sell material. Terms are agreed directly between the people involved.
